Nancy Dr. Ngowa is a proficient and devoted academic with over 16 years of university teaching experience and a strong research record in theoretical linguistics, African languages, and the documentation of endangered languages and cultural heritage. She has held several leadership positions, including the chair of the department of Languages Linguistics and Literature, acting Dean, the school of humanities and social sciences, and the acting registrar for research and extension. She has been recognised for promoting Kiswahili language globally through teaching, conferences, and publications.
